Dale Dabbs, CEO

Dale Dabbs, President and Chief Executive Officer


Dale Dabbs is President and CEO of EZShield + IdentityForce, award-winning providers of secure, digital identity protection and cybersecurity solutions that help consumers, partners, and organizations of all sizes protect what matters most. Since joining EZShield in May 2010, Dabbs has set the company’s strategic vision and implemented scalable initiatives to achieve revenue growth and market share. In August 2018, as part of Dabbs’ leadership around executing organic growth plans to further rapid expansion, EZShield acquired IdentityForce.

Dabbs is a recognized leader with a proven record of delivering measurable and significant revenue growth and shareholder value as well as driving organizational change by building strong executive leadership teams. Prior to joining EZShield, Dabbs was President and CEO of Custom Direct, the former corporate parent company of EZShield and a leading provider of custom checks and security services. During his tenure at Custom Direct, Dabbs held the positions of chief operating officer and vice president of operations before his appointment to CEO. He also spent almost 20 years at Clarke American Checks, Inc., holding various sales and operations senior leadership roles before becoming president and general manager of Checks in the Mail.

Dabbs holds a Bachelor of Science in management science from the University of Texas, Arlington, and he was honored as a finalist for EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award in both 2016 and 2017.

 

Angela Murphy

Angela Murphy, Chief Operating Officer


Angela Murphy is Chief Operating Officer (COO) of EZShield + IdentityForce, award-winning providers of secure, digital identity protection and cybersecurity solutions that help consumers, partners, and organizations of all sizes protect what matters most. Joining EZShield in June 2010, Murphy served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources.

Stepping into the role of COO in 2013, Murphy has focused on managing the business operations and leading the charge on cultivating our #1 rated customer and partner support, as well as helping to build out our world-class culture and team. She has over 25 years of Operations and Human Resources leadership experience working with companies ranging from start-ups heavily involved in M&A to mature turnaround organizations.

Murphy earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in psychology from Loyola University in Maryland. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for BBB of Greater Maryland, and in 2016 was named a winner of the SmartCEO Brava Award honoring Baltimore’s Top Female Executives.

 

Mike Catanzarita

Michael Catanzarita, CPA, Chief Financial Officer


Mike Catanzarita is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of EZShield + IdentityForce, award-winning providers of secure, digital identity protection and cybersecurity solutions that help consumers, partners, and organizations of all sizes protect what matters most. Since joining EZShield in November 2009, Catanzarita is responsible for all Finance, Accounting, Legal and administrative functions, including risk management, financial planning and analysis, tax, and treasury.

Catanzarita has over 25 years of experience leading finance, accounting, and legal teams in technology, retail and payments companies. Before joining EZShield, Mike was vice president of finance at Visa, Inc. Catanzarita previously held senior finance positions with The Gap, Inc. and began his professional career as a certified public accountant with Coopers & Lybrand.

Catanzarita holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from St. Bonaventure University in New York.

 

Rich Scott

Rich Scott, Chief Commercial Officer


Rich Scott is Chief Commercial Officer of EZShield + IdentityForce, award-winning providers of secure, digital identity protection and cybersecurity solutions that help consumers, partners, and organizations of all sizes protect what matters most. Scott leads the company’s integrated sales and marketing strategies, specifically focusing on driving growth while repositioning the company to effectively address growing cybersecurity threats relentlessly targeting organizations, employees, and the customers they serve.

Over the past 15 years, Scott has gained valuable experience within organizations ranging from start-ups to multi-billion dollar public companies, largely focusing on developing strategies to transform and inspire high-performance teams to produce award-winning results. Prior to joining EZShield, Scott served as National Vice President of Sales at Vonage Business, spearheading the reorganization of the company’s strategic direction, products, and go-to-market strategy. Leading up to the organization’s acquisition by Vonage, Scott was also the National Director of Sales for iCore Networks where he succeeded in diversifying the company’s growth strategy and dramatically increasing its market visibility.

Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from George Mason University.

 

Darrell Laffoon

Darrell Laffoon, Chief Technology Officer


Darrell Laffoon is Chief Technology Officer of EZShield + IdentityForce, award-winning providers of secure, digital identity protection and cybersecurity solutions that help consumers, partners, and organizations of all sizes protect what matters most. With EZShield since its inception, Laffoon leads the design, development, and operation of the company’s core technology platform and infrastructure, public facing applications and services, back-office solutions and enterprise wide information security.

With more than 30 years of IT experience in key leadership roles, Laffoon possesses a deep knowledge of application and web development, enterprise architecture, security, network infrastructure, Research & Development, and IT governance processes. Prior to EZShield, Laffoon held senior management positions at Custom Direct (CDI) and was instrumental in establishing an independent technology and systems platform for EZShield.

Laffoon received his BS in Computer Science at University of Maryland Baltimore County and received his Certified Information Executive (CIE) certification from The Institute for CIO Excellence. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Cybersecurity Association of Maryland (CAMI).

 

Heidi Daitch

Heidi Daitch, Chief Strategy Officer


Heidi Daitch is Chief Strategy Officer of EZShield + IdentityForce, award-winning providers of secure, digital identity protection and cybersecurity solutions that help consumers, partners, and organizations of all sizes protect what matters most.

Daitch joined IdentityForce in 2010. She has over 20 years’ experience in the technology industry driving product roadmap, strategy, and process to accelerate time to market and improve customer experience at companies ranging from startups to large enterprises. In August, 2018, IdentityForce was acquired by EZShield.

At EZShield + IdentityForce, Daitch is responsible for driving product strategy, creating customizable solutions, and streamlining processes to ensure innovation and thought leadership in a rapidly changing cybersecurity industry. She also works closely with all business units to align the product roadmap with overall company goals. Daitch earned her bachelor’s degree from Brandies University in Computer Science. In 2018, she was named the Gold Executive of the Year by the CEO World Awards.

 

Donna Parent

Donna Parent, Chief Marketing Officer


Donna Parent is Chief Marketing Officer of EZShield + IdentityForce, award-winning providers of secure, digital identity protection and cybersecurity solutions that help consumers, partners, and organizations of all sizes protect what matters most.

Parent joined IdentityForce in 2016. She is a high-energy marketer with proven experience leading value-added integrated programs designed to accelerate the trajectory of fast-paced, growing businesses. Parent has held a number of senior marketing positions at emerging software vendors spanning application performance monitoring, real-time business intelligence solutions for SOAs, and online intelligence applications for monitoring business activity through open Internet resources. In August, 2018, IdentityForce was acquired by EZShield.

At EZShield + IdentityForce, Parent is responsible for the corporate, product brand, and distribution strategies, along with go-to-market initiatives for promoting the market’s leading digital identity theft protection and cybersecurity solutions. She is focused on fueling lifelong relationships with consumers, businesses, and strategic partners.

Parent holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from The University of Massachusetts Boston and was a Chancellor’s Award recipient.

 

John Evans

John Evans, Executive Vice President of Sales


John Evans leads the sales and sales operations functions within EZShield + IdentityForce. Evans is an expert in Solution Selling and is known for taking organizations to their next level of growth by devising innovative initiatives, cultivating productive relationships, leveraging cutting-edge technology, and leading teams to ambitious and sustainable levels of achievement.

Prior to EZShield, Evans was Senior Sales Director with Celerity IT/ AUSY. He was a key contributor in growing Celerity revenue 30 percent before acquisition to AUSY. He directed sales, operations, channel development, and was instrumental in positioning Celerity IT as the industry expert of choice across multiple verticals. Evans worked closely with multinational corporate executive customers to identify needs and deliver customized services, products, and solutions that facilitated substantial success for customers as well as Celerity IT.

Evans holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Business Law from Marymount University. He is an active volunteer with Partner in Hope and supporter of the President’s Circle of Marymount University.
